Filme: Café de Flore (2011)

Aconselhado pelo meu irmão que vive em Paris, este filme é impressionantemente comovente. E definitivamente a rever. O filme trata uma história de amor entre um homem e uma mulher nos tempos actuais e entre uma mãe e o seu filho com sindrome de Down nos anos 60. O filme mostra a paixão de um pelo outro e pela música.

Antoine: Do you believe in soulmates? I do. I like the concept that there is somebody who is supposed to be with you forever. But if it's a soulmate, it's not supposed to end, right? It doesn't happen twice in a lifetime. 

Médium: The meeting of twin flames is when the soul finds its other half on the path homeward, to the source.The cycle of reincarnation ends. It's the final relationship that leads to unity.

O nome do filme é uma referência ao famoso St. Germain Café e a um musical cujas músicas estão presentes no filme, o que leva a que a Banda sonora esteja divinal, fora de série, genial e intemporal. 


E há um pormenor no fim do filme, que só para os mais atentos. Fantástico.
