A acompanhar a dúvida se há vida para além da morte, e se essa vida intersecta com a dos que mais amamos, temos a música dos Mogwai, que eleva esta série à melhor que já vi sobre 'zombies', se é que se pode chamar isso, pois odeio zombies, e eu que odeio Walking Dead, adorei esta série.

Observação: Fartei-me de chorar na parte final. Emocionante e muito comovente.

O sistema de ensino é então concebido para incutir disciplina, ordem e rigor, pois só assim se consegue preparar os alunos para o sucesso, para o mundo real, competitivo e para serem altamente rentáveis. Caso contrário para quê estudar? 
É nesta realidade que vive Ishaan, completamente perdido, deprimido, traumatizado, e sem entender o porquê de tanta rudeza, no fundo sem entender o sistema, a sociedade em que está inserido, porque não é à sua medida. Juntos mostram-nos que cada pessoa, cada criança é simplesmente um ser único, diferente, com vocações, capacidades, dificuldades e ritmos diferentes de aprendizagem e de vida. Cada criança é como uma estrela na terra. 
Este filme para além de ser uma grande lição de vida, daquelas que não devíamos esquecer é, pela forma como se desenrola, verdadeiramente emocionante e inspirador. "

Manchester, UK

Ao preparar o passaporte para a próxima viagem lembrei-me de que ainda não tinha cá colocado nada sobre a minha última viagem para fora de Portugal (as idas à Madeira não contam).

Fui a Manchester visitar um primo, passar um fim-de-semana. A Ryanair que amavelmente tem vôos no sentido Lisboa-Manchester à sexta-feira ao final do dia e no sentido Manchester-Lisboa ao domingo à noite foi a minha companhia aérea de escolha. 

A cidade é escura, é operária e tem alguma oferta a nível cultural, principalmente musical, todos os seus museus são de entrada livre, tem lojas de discos fantásticas, tem a casa da escritora Elizabeth Gaskell, tem uma biblioteca lindíssima, tem mais Costa Cafés por cada 200 metros que Londres, mas vive do futebol...a cidade respira futebol. 

Numa espécie de resumo e em forma de listagem, deixo-vos alguns dos locais que visitei, coisas que fiz e fotos que tirei. 

• Fui ao Museu da Ciência e Indústria, a ambos edifícios, ao principal e ao dedicado apenas à aviação. 
• Fui ao Museu do Futebol, porque estava interessada na exposição "Football & First World War" . A entrada na exposição custou-me apenas 2£.
• Fui à casa de uma das minhas escritoras favoritas, Elizabeth Gaskell, a entrada é paga mas o bilhete é válido por um ano e é transmissível. 
• O meu primo apresentou-me um restaurante - o Dry Bar - onde se come uma pizza e bebe-se duas pints por apenas 8£. 
• Comi dos melhores hamburgueres da minha vida no SoLITA. 
• Adorei no restaurante Las Iguanas, onde comi a melhor abóbora manteiga recheada. 
• Fui ao Museu da Guerra - Imperial War Museum North - e não subi ao melhor miradouro - AirShard and Viewing Platform - de Manchester, devido à hora tardia da visita. 
• Estive no maior centro comercial da cidade - Trafford Centre - e achei que estava tudo exagerado, parecia idealizado por um angolano.   
• Não consegui ir a nenhuma das excursões musicais da Manchester Music Tours, porque estava tudo cheio para a data em que lá estive. :( 
• O aeroporto tem das melhores e mais baratas lojas de duty free, onde já estive.

Hilariante e muito subtil. A rivalidade na sua mais pura natureza sempre dentro dos padrões da elegância e educação. Imprescindível.  
Recomendo a ver a mini série e a ler no site do The Telegraph, o artigo Mapp and Lucia: The 20 best bitchiest quotes.  Muita coisa para aprender.
