Silence is golden #18

ponte nossa

olho para o lado:
um vento pequeno adormece
entre nós
via da nossa distância corporal.
uma mão pede um beijo
à tua.
os meus dedos, por quererem,
estão juntos aos teus.
e, folhas caindo na noite,
encontramos um olhar.

ponte nossa...

primeira ponte
entre nós.

10 things I hate about......... Luanda

2. Odeio as estradas todas esburacadas.
3. Odeio a falta de civismo dos condutores.

Bicentennial Man (1999)

Rupert Burns: What do they say?
Andrew Martin: That you can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time. That two bodies can become so mixed up, that you don't know who's who or what's what. And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do. Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there. That's a miracle. You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love.
Rupert Burns: And you want to experience that?
Andrew Martin: Oh, yes, please.
Rupert Burns: So do I.

Love Movies 10/10

The English Patient (1996)
Katharine Clifton: My darling. I'm waiting for you. How long is the day in the dark? Or a week? The fire is gone, and I'm horribly cold. I really should drag myself outside but then there'd be the sun. I'm afraid I waste the light on the paintings, not writing these words. We die. We die rich with lovers and tribes, tastes we have swallowed, bodies we've entered and swum up like rivers. Fears we've hidden in - like this wretched cave. I want all this marked on my body. Where the real countries are. Not boundaries drawn on maps with the names of powerful men. I know you'll come carry me out to the Palace of Winds. That's what I've wanted: to walk in such a place with you. With friends, on an earth without maps. The lamp has gone out and I'm writing in the darkness.

The NoteBook (2004)

Noah: So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.

High Fidelity (2000)

Rob: Top five things I miss about Laura. One; sense of humor. Very dry, but it can also be warm and forgiving. And she's got one of the best all time laughs in the history of all time laughs, she laughs with her entire body. Two; she's got character. Or at least she had character before the Ian nightmare. She's loyal and honest, and she doesn't even take it out on people when she's having a bad day. That's character.
[holds up three fingers]
Rob: Three;
[long pause, hesitantly]
Rob: I miss her smell, and the way she tastes. It's a mystery of human chemistry and I don't understand it, some people, as far as their senses are concerned, just feel like home.
[shakes his head, recollecting, then looks back and lip synchs 'four' while holds up four fingers]
Rob: I really dig how she walks around. It's like she doesn't care how she looks or what she projects and it's not that she doesn't care it's just, she's not affected I guess, and that gives her grace. And five; she does this thing in bed when she can't get to sleep, she kinda half moans and then rubs her feet together an equal number of times... it just kills me. Believe me, I mean, I could do a top five things about her that drive me crazy but it's just your garden variety women you know, schizo stuff and that's the kind of thing that got me here.

Lars and the real girl (2007)

Lars Lindstrom: [after giving some flowers to Bianca] See they're even fake so they'll never die.

Série: In a Land of Plenty

In a Land of Plenty is already one of the best pieces of drama on British television ever. It shares its refreshingly simple premise with another acclaimed BBC series. (fonte: off the telly)

"They´re just moments. They´re not life…" #22

Marion: I love you, Harry. You make me feel like a person. Like I'm me...
Harry Goldfarb: You are beautiful. You're the most beautiful girl in the world. You are my dream.
Marion: [after Harry tells her she's beautiful] That's nice, Harry. Other people have told me that before, and it was meaningless. When you say it, I hear it.
